Research4Life partners announced today that the content available through its collaborative public-private partnership has dramatically increased since 2011 to reach 17,000 peer reviewed scientific journals, books and databases. WIPO’S ARDI Research for Innovation Programme joins Research4Life

13 October 2011 -The Research4Life partnership, which enables free or low cost online access in the developing world to vital scientific research, is joined today by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), making its ARDI (Access to Research for Development and Innovation) programme the fourth programme in the partnership. AGORA Short Course

The AGORA Short Course is a compilation of the key points from several modules used for the extensive ‘Train the Trainers’ workshop. This course highlights the baseline skills necessary to use the AGORA program effectively and efficiently. This course is accompanied by a Workbook with 16 exercises that corresponds to each of the key sections in the Short Course. This is a collaborative effort of ITOCA and the Librarians Without Borders®/Medical Library Association (USA) ‘E-library Training Initiative’ that is funded by the Elsevier Foundation. In addition to this version of the Short Course, there is a distance learning version that aims to reach individuals who cannot attend regular workshops.
