July 2010. AGORA featured at the 5th African Agricultural Science Week
28/Jul/2010AGORA and Research4Life were highlighted at the 5th African Agricultural Science Week (AASW) and the 5th FARA General Assembly at Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, aimed at focusing on advances in agricultural research for development in the continent.
In support of the main theme at AASW, namely African Agricultural Innovation in a Changing Global Environment, FAO and ITOCA jointly promoted the Research4Life initiative as a knowledge base for African agricultural research and development. Around 700 participants attended the event, and strong interest was shown at the ITOCA exhibition stand.
